Meet Dr. Hosking
Dr. Michael Hosking was raised in Big Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and a Specialization in Bioethics. Dr. Hosking earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He received further training at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA). His Endodontic Specialty training was also completed at UTHSCSA. During his final year of residency, Dr. Hosking won an award for his oral presentation on regenerative endodontics at the American Association of Endodontics annual meeting.
Dr. Hosking is currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He enjoys being an adjunct clinical faculty member at UTHSCSA dental school and teaches in the Advanced General Dentistry Clinic. He believes in quality care and strives to offer a comfortable and positive experience for each individual patient. In his free time he enjoys running, reading, and exploring San Antonio with his wife Yoshita, a pediatric dentist, and their maltipoo Nemo.
